Let me sum up the last few months of manufactured distractions by Obama & the Left, you may want to get comfy. It all started with the supposed GOP‘s “war on women” by objecting to mandated “free birth control for ALL women”. Boycotting of Rush Limbaugh because of his hate speech stemming from using “slut” on air. Next came the race baiting & manipulation of the tragic death of Trayvon Martin and arrest of George Zimmerman. Now we are on to the GOP “war on gays”, because of our lack of support for the use of the word marriage, to describe homosexual life-long commitment.

All in an effort to distract the American people from the REAL issues of the sluggish economy, high unemployment numbers, skyrocketing gas prices, stalling of the Keystone Pipeline, need for immigration reform, Obamacare. Ok, I think you are smart enough to get my point. The issues I mentioned affect the lives of all Americans, regardless of race, class, religion or sexual orientation. We must unite to defeat Obama, so he is unable to move his progressive Liberal agenda FORWARD. The majority of Democrats & Big Labor Unions fall in step with Obama’s destructive policies, the moderate Blue Dog Democrats have been silenced. Even a handful of RINOs support pieces of Obama’s agenda. As Americans we have the gift of our vote, use it and use it wisely.

The American majority needs to step up, stop being so PC. Traditional family values and Judeo-Christian principles are what America was founded on, what makes America exceptional. Look at the destruction Liberal policies had on inner cities, how the Liberal feminist movement has been crumbling the family unit. America is worth fighting for, our kids are worth it, our grandkids are worth it. No more will Conservatives sit as the silent majority. The TEA Party is alive and well, we don’t leave a path of destruction wherever we go, just candidates who have won!

Next time Liberals try to distract from the real issues, ask how they feel about the Keystone Pipeline or Clean Coal Energy. Or the lack of a Senate budget for over 1000 days, their thoughts on Obamacare, education reform and school choice. Bring up the National debt, US credit downgrading, etc. Don’t let Obama & Co sweep his dismal record in office under the rug. This time around Barack Obama has a record to stand on, he and the Democrats own the last 3+ years. Come November we must fire Obama and win back the Congress! Stay focused people, together we can take America back!

The Liberal distraction machine, along with the manufactured mainstream media hype is out of control!! Seriously, it is one crisis after another with them. This fall, leading up to the election in November is going to be a nightmare. Contrary to the MSM, Liberals and the establishment GOP, Americans are not stupid…well most of us aren’t…you get my point. We are not falling for all this CRAP! First, Sandra Fluke & the phony “contraception crisis”, then the “STOP Rush movement”, next comes the perversion of the tragic Trayvon Martin shooting. Which leads Obama to divide the country along racial lines with help of the “Revs”, ABC, & NBC. Ending up with Hilary Rosen’s ignorant rant about Ann Romney‘s life as a SAHM & her role in influencing her husband on women’s economic issues. In between all of that chaos, is the issue of mandatory Voter ID laws & the Democrats quest to stop them. Whew!

The Obama Campaign needs to keep our attention away from his utter failure to lead as President . Away from the policies he put into place which ended up making things worse. From escalating unemployment, to the passage of Obamacare with no support from Republicans and outrage from Americans to skyrocketing gas prices. Plus U.S.A. credit down grades, it is a wonder the Democrats didn’t challenge the incumbant President. “Our” President is out of touch and so self-absorbed he doesn’t even take responsiblity for his role in the decline of America. He is like a 7 yr old trying to blame everyone else for breaking the lamp, only he was in the room alone when it happened.

Bottomline, we as Americans need to unite to defeat Barack Obama this November. The majority of us are fiscally and social conservative, we need to set aside the labels, cut through the crap, stop feeding into the distractions. America depends on it. America, as we know it to be, depends on us choosing politicians “of the people, for the people, by the people” this November. Obama needs to be defeated, the Congress needs fired, our States need to be held accountable. Don’t forget about a Senate that hasn’t had a budget in over 1000 days. This is unacceptable!

It is time we hold candidates accountable for their record, the media accountable for truth, not as they see it, but truth, as in the FACTS. To defeat Obama in November, the GOP Presidential nominee must call Obama on his 2008 campaign promises and his failures in last 3 + yrs. We do not need a repeat of McCain’s run in ’08. Hold Obama’s feet to the proverbial fire!

My friends and fellow Patriots please don’t be distracted, stay focused on real issues, do your own research, present the facts. Good luck, God Bless and when the situation calls for it, tell people to “cut the CRAP!”.

 

Voices of Conservatism

Honestly, I’m not sure blogging and political discussion are meant for me.  First off, instead of wanting to debate with Liberals, I end up feeling sorry for them. Many times when I try to have a dialogue with a Obama supporter, they are so hateful & ignorant there is no point in me continuing the discussion. Second, Liberals avoid truth & facts like they are the “plague”, which makes debating almost impossible. Thirdly (is that even a word?), simply put, I’m too damn tired to deal with adults that act like a spoiled 2-year-old! Yet I know it’s a necessary evil, engaging with Liberals to spread the message of Conservatism & more importantly the love of Christ. Therefor, I go into “battle” everyday trying to change the hearts and minds of my fellow Americans.

I have great respect for true American heroes, our members of the Armed Forces, who really are on the front lines each day. However, just as important as their work is, the work of many American Patriots is equally meaningful. These Patriots get verbally assault by the ignorant Left day in & day out. The unsung heroes of America~ the Conservative SAHM talking politics at the park, the college student involved in Republican politics & the Pro-Life movement, the “Right” Professor in the Left leaning world of higher education. The Black man/woman who rose up out of the cycle of poverty because of their Conservative beliefs, now spreading the message to the Black community. The small businessman trying to employ Americans and squeak out a living. A union worker not buying into the scheme of the AFL/CIO, convincing his “brothers” there is a better way. The voices we hear everyday on Conservative talk radio exposing Obama & the lies of the Left. Conservative politicians trying to make a difference in their Districts, States and Country.

My point is when you feel defeated, that your voice doesn’t matter, know it does. There are millions of Americans who believe in the America you believe in. Who value the Constitution and what it stands for, the dream our Founding Fathers had for this Country. No longer are we the silent majority, we are standing up for America! We all have an important role in the battle to “Restore America”, together we can get America heading in the right direction! Stay strong friends, stay focused, stay in prayer. With God’s help we can “Take America Back”!

The reality of ObamaCare

With the Supreme Court hearing the argument for & against the Constitutionality of the Patient Protection, Affordability and Care Act, I started researching the Law.  To obtain the certified bill I went to healthcare.gov or housedocs.house.gov. My intention was to write an informed, witty and honest piece about this monstrosity, better know as Obamacare. As I dove into reading the 2500+pages of bureaucratic language, I tossed my initial idea aside. Its no wonder Nancy Pelosi wanted Congress to ”pass the bill so we know what’s in it”, by the time they finished reading the bill they’d be up for re-election. The PPACA was very hard to decipher and I consider myself to be pretty intelligent. There are many references to existing laws, subcategories, etcs. Which most could not even comprehend unless you were Health Care attorney, needless to say I plugged through various parts. I ended up reading the “compressed” form, which makes Obamacare more rosy than it actually is.What I took from educating myself on the merits of this Law is, it a colossal bundle of red tape. ObamaCare is going to make every aspect of Health Insurance the Governments business and diminish personal control of our own Health Care.

” The HHS Secretary has established a Federal Coordinated Health Care Office.” “The FCHCO has and appointed Director under the authority of the Administrator of CMS.” Those agencies will be tasked with “Developing of Core Set of Health Care Quality measures for adults (and children) eligible for benefits”. Take that info how you want, I see that is the Government telling the American people how healthy we should be, yet everyone is different. We are in control of our own bodies, is America overweight as a nation, probably, could we be healthier, most definitely. Is that the Governments business? NO, unless you’re on Medical Assistance, if you get your free from the Government you do lose certain privacy. The majority of Senior Citizens or on some form of Medicare, I see the issues my grandparents have with it. Currently in this country all the seniors have for an option is Medicare and its supplemental insurance, unless they are a retiree from a public sector union which typically has Health Insurance retirees. That issue is for another article.

Obamacare has a good point or two, but those do not outweigh the thousands of negative consequences to come out of this Law. People are interchanging Health Care and Health Insurance during this debate, they are two very separate things. Americans have access to Health Care, regardless if they have Health Insurance. It is reported approx  30-40 million people do not have health insurance currently, either by choice or they can’t afford it. Out of a country whose population is over 330 million people that’s too shabby!

I feel all of Obamacare needs to be struck down. Congress needs to start over focusing on simple, smart, fiscally sound Insurance reform. Enlist Doctors, Health Insurance Companies, Hospital Administrators, Health Care Lawyers and most importantly the American people. Working together to shape a Health Insurance reform bill. A commonsense reform in plain language so Congress can read it before they pass the bill! Personally, I think we should be able to purchase Health Insurance the way we choose other insurances, having the ability to purchase it across state lines so your policy can fit your life, your family and your budget. Another smart idea is not tying it to the employer, let Health Insurance be portable, a business can give their employees a yearly allotment for Health Insurance allowing the employee to purchase their own policy. Insurance companies can offer incentives or decreased premiums if we lose weight, quit smoking or improve cholesterol numbers. There are numerous ideas for reforming the Health Insurance industry in America.  It’s up to us, the American people to speak up regardless of how the ruling comes down from the Supreme Court, together we can change Washington D.C. for the better.

Race-is it the real issue? No its Government…

The killing of TrayVon Martin has created the perfect storm for race baiters, media hype, and half truths. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson & even Pres. Obama have had choice words to say about this tragic incident. Not in a good way might I add. This blog entry isn’t about TrayVon’s death, nor is about racism as we typically think about it. I want to discuss the bigger picture, the Government’s role in the decline of the black community. I don’t pretend to know what it is like to be black or any minority for that matter. I view everyone as the same, I don’t judge one “by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character” hmm, sound familiar? Martin Luther King Jr. was an incredible man & this is not how he envisioned the black community 40 yrs post-civil rights movement. Or America as a Nation.

First I want to put out a few facts, the Census.gov site shows Public Assistance increase from 18 billion in 1970 to 682 billion in 2009. This figure includes federal benefits, along with state benefits for food stamps, SSI, earned income credit, medical care and various assistance programs. This can be found on table 538 under the heading Social Insurance & Human Serv for 2010. A wealth of information can be found on Government websites, I am choosing these sites so people won’t say I am getting information from Right-wing sites. For crime stats I reviewed FBI.gov. While crime is decreasing overall, the most dangerous cities across the board are inner cities with high population of blacks, living in Government housing, with failing public schools. The families are typically single parent w no positive male role model. Why is that many ask? This is where the role of Government comes into play, the Democrats have tried to keep blacks in segregation by way of public housing, welfare & incentives to stay unmarried & jobless. We are now starting a 3rd generation in this cycle, the black on black violence, especially among young black men is astounding. Drugs, gangs and misguided pride are causes of many unnecessary deaths. People don’t need a handout, we as a Country need to stop enabling people to continue on destructive paths, & give our fellow Americans a hand up. They and America will be better off. Black people who don’t subscribe to the Government is “here to help us” get labeled sellouts, Uncle Tom and many more vicious names.

Now, this isn’t only a black issue, people of all races are falling into the trap of the entitlement mindset, I am seeing the issue more as a class “thing” than a color one. People think it is the job of Government to keep them from feeling effects of poor choices. We all make mistakes and get into tough spots but we need to accept responsiblity for our actions. The figures show 7 out of 10 black fathers don’t take responsiblity for their children, 4 out of 10 white ones don’t. This isn’t a birth control issue its a moral issue, why are kids out there having sex as young as 12, 13 yrs old? Because we live in a society where everything is acceptable and irresponsibility is glamorized ie. Jersey Shore, 16 and Pregnant, Real Housewives etc.

Personally, I think Federal Government  needs to get out of the social welfare business, local communities & churches along with state involvement can do a more effective job at helping people break the cycle. There needs to be more face to face contact between welfare receipts and case workers, stricter education & job training goals. So people have a clear-cut plan to leaving the welfare rolls. The more self-sufficent a person is the less prone to vilolence, drugs & gangs they are.

I don’t claim to have all the answers or be an expert, but somethings got to give. America is a nation that is in moral decline, we have entitlement mentality with a culture of recklessness & selfishness. Americans need to take a good look in the mirror and figure out what we can do better. Part of the answer is the Church, we need to stand against the assaults on Christianity & Judaism. If we don’t believe in anything, what is our motivation to “do the right thing”?

Left vs.Right ~ The Free Speech double standard

Personally, I can care less if Obama’s Super PAC gives back raunchy Liberal comic Bill Maher’s 1 million dollar donation.  The fact that they took it in the first place says all I need to know. Plus who would give back “FREE” money?  The Left thinks slamming women is fine, as long as the women are Conservative. For the far-Left, any Conservative, Republican or Right leaning Independent, man or woman is fair game. It’s a bonus if they have kids! I think Conservatives and the GOP are only hurting their cause by pressuring the Super PAC to give back the money, let them keep it. Obama & Co obviously don’t have a problem with what Maher says. Look at Maher’s recent “jokes” about Rick & Karen Santorum’s choice to home school their kids. How many school age celebrities are cyber-school or home schooled, most of them. Will Maher make fun of them? Doubt it. Obama himself has said some pretty ignorant & maligning things about Conservative Americans or stood next to people who spewed hate against us (think Jimmy Hoffa last year). Remember when Biden likened us to “terrorists”. Imagine the outrage if someone refered to Obama, Biden or Chu as terrorist like!

What Rush Limbaugh said regarding Sandra Fluke wasn’t a big deal in the whole scheme of things, heck it didn’t even need bleeped on network news reports. Ms Fluke made herself a target with her ridiculous “testimony” in front of Congress, putting the Progressive Left’s contraception crisis on front pages everywhere. Now, since the American people are smart enough to realize there is NO conception crisis, Liberals are trying to make an issue out of Rush’s comments. That isn’t working either, sponsors that pulled out of his show are the ones whose stocks are dropping and customers are fleeing. Who is laughing now?

Patricia Heaton was slammed for funny tweets regarding “Gtown gal”, Heaton never refered to Fluke by name, didn’t use vulgar language or profanity. The Left harassed Heaton so badly that she had to suspend her Twitter account & when she came back on had to apologize for making fun of Fluke. Really? Outwardly Conservative actors/actresses are few and far between in Hollywood, I pray Patricia Heaton continues to stand up for what she believes in.

If you really want to see a Liberal double standard observe comments that black/minority Conservatives put up with from black/minority Liberals, I was astounded the first few times I saw the hate filled, vicious thing said to these great Americans. People who aren’t brainwashed by the Left, they are smart enough, brave enough to speak out against the Liberal agenda. They don’t blindly support a President based on the color of his skin, they base their decisions on facts, ideas and policy.

We as Americans need to stand against this Liberal media double standard, it can’t be tolerated any longer. Conservatives, Independents and Americans as a whole need to lead by example by not stooping to the level of Liberals. They spew enough hate filled rhetoric and  incendiary vitriol all by themselves! I  live by the “Golden Rule” and I sleep great at night!

Obama-The truth is coming out…

After the seeing the “Breitbart tapes” showing Pres. Obama & Prof. Bell, I am saddened & dismayed that this man somehow became President of the United States. When will people wake up to the truth about Barack Obama? He is a radical Alinsky student, Rev. Wright congregant, neighbor of terrorist Bill Ayers. How many times does it have to be revealed that Obama’s has many ties to radial left-wing groups. It wasn’t just as a 20 yr old naive college student protesting injustice, it’s a lifetime of associations.

This isn’t a partisan issue, it’s an American issue. We have a President that is on record saying negative comments about a segment of our country’s population, about their values & beliefs. When did it become ok for a President to make fun of a group of citizens, demand that Americans buy a service they may not want and call a woman who ends up being essentially, a fraud. The Democrat Party & Presidency have been taken over by radical left-wing extremists. I believe those Democrats who don’t subscribe to the President’s agenda stay silent out of fear, they love America & what it stands for, but are stuck with a man who wants to “transform America”.

The Obama Administration is constantly creating one crisis after another that demands action or else. They are making up issues, this “reproductive rights issue” is non-existent, the Left created the contraception mandate as a distraction from the real issues facing the country. Unemployment is reportedly up to 9.1%, gas is around the $4.00/gal in many areas of the country, food prices are climbing. Yet Obama & Co. decided to mandate free contraception for all women regardless of insurance? Really? With this new mandate, plus more of Obamacare going into effect, insurance premiums are skyrocketing. My family’s health insurance has went up 55% from 2011 to 2012, we now pay $57 more bi-weekly for our premium. That’s less money in my pocket to stimulate the economy, times that by hundreds of millions of people, no wonder there’s a recession! Obama said one of his goals of Obamacare was decrease costs, that hasn’t happen for anyone I know.

We have a President who lives by a double standard & is a blatant hypocrite, when what we need is a leader. In November we have an opportunity to elect a leader, any one of the GOP candidates will be a better choice over our current President. I have no doubt all of the men pursuing the nomination will stand up for women, freedom & prosperity when those are threatened from either side of the aisle. As conservative media continues the mission of  “Vetting the President” which the late Andrew Brietbart started, I pray Americans see the truth that is being laid out in front of them about Barack Obama. The future of America depends on it!

Super Tuesday~ Vote your gut

It is Tuesday March 6, 2012 aka “Super Tuesday“ in the  Republican presidential nomination process. There’s voting in 10 states today.  If your state is holding a primary election take 15 minutes and go vote for the candidate you support. Choose the one who shares your views, ideals and vision for America, the man who best contrasts Obama in your opinion. We are bombarded with political ads on TV & radio, so much that my head spins trying to sort out the facts & fiction within them. With negative attack ads & half-truths everywhere ,how are we suppose to decided who to vote for. Do we pick the nominee that the MSM perceives to have the best  chance of electability against Obama? Do we vote our gut, for the candidate we feel best represents us? Are they the same candidate? For some it may be the same man, for many, myself included it is two very different people. What is a Conservative or Independent American to do? My advice-go with your gut, it will never lead you astray. When the RNC comes around, if “your” candidate isn’t  the GOP presidential nominee you must support the man who wins the nomination. I have no doubt Republicans will band together to defeat the President this fall. Until then, I suggest we all vote our gut and let the chips fall as they may. We are blessed in America to have a Primary process that vets potential presidential candidates (well, unless you were Obama in ’08). Use this primary opportunity wisely, don’t be pressured to GOPvote for the candidate your told you should choose, this is a time to cast your ballot for who you want. Best of luck to all the GOP candidates, Speaker Gingrich, Rep. Paul, Gov. Romney and Sen. Santorum; remember gentlemen tell the truth and speak from your heart, voters know when you’re not!

I have NEVER ate a girl!

Apparently there are many, many people who use Christianity as reason to spew vile hate. I am more naive than I had originally thought. My initial  blog title was “ateagirl” speaks, my Twitter followers/friends thought nothing of it, my handle on there is @ATeagirl. A was for Amy, Tea for my last name & TEA Party reference, I was thinking I was pretty clever. Yeah, not so much….scroll down to the hateful comments people left. It took me 2 days to figure out why I was getting called lesbian slurs, my brain just doesn’t think the way the haters brains do.

As a Christian, I think homosexuality is a sin, but we are all sinners, who am I to judge what someone does in their bedroom. People struggle with many different types of sin; greed, lust, gossiping, drugs, adultery, the list goes on. In the end we stand before God, he knows the truth about us, what is really in our hearts. He is the person we answer to, Him and Christ. The ones who left the nasty comments must have never heard of “Love the sinner, hate the sin.”

This has been an eye-opening experience for me, to be attack by “Christians” & “conservatives”, it proves a handful of “bad apples” taint the whole bushel. We don’t have to agree with everything a person says or believes in, but if we don’t respect each other than we are doomed to fail as a society. We see a double standard everywhere-outrage about Rush’s “slut” comments, attacks on Black GOP, horrific things written about Andrew Breitbart in death. The Left can say what ever they want without media repercussions. Us on the Right need to be better than them, we must speak our mind & stand by it minus the vitriol.

Together we can save America by shedding light on the Lefts lies and the main stream media omissions. Hopefully with my new URL & blog title people can focus on my message instead of wondering if I have “ate a girl”! (BTW- I never have!)

Leave Rush alone!

Anybody that listens to Rush Limbaugh‘s radio show knows he has created a brand for himself by being obnoxious, outrageous and spot on in regards to the Lefts antics. If someone is offended by what “LRushbo” says its their fault not his. With all the hate spewed by Liberals & their supporters, Rush referring to Sandra Fluke as a “slut” is funny. Especially when one compares it to the HORRIFIC things be written & said by Liberal media pundits about Andrew Breitbart and his shocking death. Who is calling out the Left on that, other than Conservatives? Did Pres. Obama call Breitbart’s widow & kids to comfort them, I highly doubt it. Where are the Democrat Congress members who called for less vitriol and incendiary speech? Oh that’s right, they only care when someone on their side is affected by tragedy or in Fluke’s case, name calling.

As for the sponsors who pulled their ads from Rush’s radio show, those idiots just lost millions of potential customers. Too bad for them! There is a double standard in the media today, the Left has so much hate and rage for anyone who doesn’t agree with them, whether public figure or private citizen. As Conservative Americans we need to speak up when we see or hear this type of hate from the Left. Do not  argue with them, just address the point of concern then move on. We know you can’t a debate with a Liberal, so don’t waste your energy.

Should Rush have apologized to Sandra Fluke? Short answer-NO! Limbaugh is the Howard Stern of Conservative talk radio, listeners expect outrageous, over the top comments from him, if they didn’t he wouldn’t have had a successful radio program for 20+yrs. Personally, I am more offended by our President. Obama standing up saying Republicans “want dirty air and dirty water!”. The fact that Obama would say that about a segment of American citizens is so offensive and unequivocally NOT true! Conservatives or the GOP didn’t demand an apology, we just knew he was flat-out wrong! FYI-just because someone apologizes doesn’t mean they’re sorry, especially if that person was forced to apologize.

The Liberal media’s attention of Rush calling Fluke a slut is just one more attempt to distract the American people from the real issues.The free contraception mandate, Obamacare, and more importantly Obama and Democrats utter failure to address the numerous problems in America. Don’t fall for their ploy, stay focused on the goal of restoring America to greatness, starting by preventing Obama from being re-elected in November! Don’t forget to tell the haters to “Leave Rush alone!”
